Studio Map & Directions
Experimentation is key in my studio. My mind constantly is working, filling my head with new ideas and challenges. Since I work in a variety of media, my studio is set up with stations for oil and acrylics, encaustic, watercolors, printmaking, and jewelry.
I am always on the lookout for a new inspiration, be it a local scene, something I saw that caught my eye or just an idea that rattles around my head until I make it a reality. Since I tire of repetition easily, I go from one medium to another, from realism to abstraction, from two dimensions to three dimensions. I go wherever my mood takes me. My process is simple. I do whatever I have to in order to reach my goal.

As an autodidact, experimentation is essential in Jacqueline Lucier's studio. Her paintings may be done in a variety of media, including encaustic, oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed, among others. As a board member of the Northeastern Ct Art Guild, her paintings have been exhibited in numerous group shows, the Slater Memorial Annual Ct Artist Exhibition, and also featured on the front of past issue of the Reminder Gold Pages. A portrait is in the permanent collection of Day Kimball Hospital. She is also an invited member of the Silver Circle Gallery Artist Collective in Putnam, Ct. On any given day, you can find her in her studio in E. Killingly.
