Kim Kordonowy worked as a commercial interior designer for 10 years.  Then she raised her family while taking art classes through the St. Louis Community College.  She belonged to several art organizations, received juried awards, and conducted workshops and demos in St. Louis while exhibiting and painting through “Gallery 309” in Wildwood Missouri.

In 2019 Kim and Paul moved to “The Quiet Corner” to be closer to family.

Kim has worked in charcoal, watercolor, acrylic, and oil.  She has developed her own multimedia fabric and paint expression, often doing pet portraits, and animals in nature, especially birds and fish in motion.

Artist Statement:
I enjoy painting unique whimsical portraits of animals and environments in nature. I use colorful patterned fabrics to define and accentuate the images. I also enjoy sketching and experimenting with art techniques in charcoal, watercolor, acrylic and oil, and fabric.
