Backyard Music began 35 years ago with the creation of the dulcimer kits. Now we still build dulcimers but have expanded to banjos and Harps. The instruments are available completely built or as a kit. We like that folks can have the enjoyment of building the inexpensive instruments themselves or have us build for them...because either way we want everyone to know that they can make music. That's the root of Backyard Music. To make music, to make song, for oneself or a group of family and friends, is what we believe is the root of human interaction.
