2021 Tour Update:
Tour Guides will not be mailed this year. Once printed they will be available at Town Halls, Libraries, Sponsor Businesses, and of course, from participants.
Visitors need to check with artists they wish to visit to find out what their individual covid restrictions will be at the time of the tour, i.e.: a limited number of visitors, mask requirements, use of provided hand sanitizer, curbside pickup only, etc.
Skunk Cabbage was the first sign that Winter was passing. When we moved to CT and I took up pottery, I would look out the backyard at our stream and with such excitement know that spring was around the corner because of those plump green leaves pushing through the soil. I have been a potter for 22 years now and still find the textures, lines and shapes of nature to be such an inspiration.
I look to my garden to embellish my pieces with leaves and berries, making each piece one of a kind. I believe that we should engage with with art so my pieces can go from oven to the table, to the dishwasher - making them part of your daily aesthetic!
