I create paintings on paper using watercolor and soft pastels independent of each other. All of my work is original utilizing my own photographs and sketches. I work in the field and also in the studio. I design compositions using thumbnail sketches and hand draw the underdrawing without projectors or other interfaces. I prefer to select subjects that I can connect to in some way and communicate their essence to others. All major works are professionally framed off premises using museum quality products. Small works and drawings are also available without framing.
